Peeling garlic can be hard at the best of times so here is a tip that will help you peel garlic easily. All you have to do is lay the cloves of garlic flat on your kitchen counter and press the clove hard with the flat side of large knife. This will split the garlic head and make removing the skin easy with your fingers. It is also said that crushed garlic gives off its flavor better when it is cooked. Also keep in mind that garlic skin comes off easily if the garlic cloves are slightly warmed before peeling.
