Heat butter in a deep
non-stick pan, add garlic and saute till fragrant. Add cauliflower and saute for 1 minute.
Add milk, vegetable
stock, pepper powder and salt and mix well. Cook till the cauliflower is done. Take the pan off the heat and cool.
Preheat the oven to
180º C.
Transfer the
cauliflower mixture into a blender jar and blend to a smooth and creamy sauce.
Grease an oven proof
dish with butter, spread layers of potatoes, green peas and carrot, one on top of the other, and sprinkle salt, pepper powder and nutmeg powder over them.
Pour cream over them
followed by the cauliflower sauce.
Lastly sprinkle cheese
on top, keep the dish in the preheated oven and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Take the dish out of
the oven, spoon out into individual serving dishes and serve hot with some garlic bread.
