Ingredients

  • Medium cabbage, roughly chopped ½
  • Green peas, boiled ½ cup
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • Ginger, thin strips 1 tsp
  • Garlic, minced 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chillies, finely chopped 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 1 tbsp

Methods

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add ginger and garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  • Add cabbage and peas, mix well and cook on high heat.
  • Add salt, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Add ½ cup water and mix well. Cook till water dries up.
  • Transfer into a serving dish, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
