Ingredients

  • Cooking chocolate, chopped 250 gms
  • Butter 150 gms
  • Eggs 3
  • Castor sugar 150 gms
  • Icing sugar to dust

Methods

  • Preheat oven to 200º C. Break the eggs, separate the yolks and whites and put them in separate bowls.
  • Melt the cooking chocolate on a double boiler. Add butter and egg yolks to the melted chocolate and mix. Let this mixture cool down to room temperature.
  • Add castor sugar to the egg whites and beat till soft peaks are formed. Add the chocolate mixture and mix gently.
  • Pour this mixture into heart shaped ramekin moulds, keep the moulds in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Bring the ramekin moulds out of the oven, dust icing sugar on top and serve.
