For each portion, put
¾ cup ice cubes, 8-10 mint sprigs, ¼ cup mint syrup, 1 tbsp lemon juice and some water in a blender jar and blend to a thin mixture.
Pour the mixture into a
barfi tray and keep in the freezer till set. Scrape the mixture at regular intervals with a fork to get a granita texture.
Discard stem and
bottom of USA Pear and chop finely. Put ¼ of the chopped pear into a martini glass and put granita on top.
