Sweet and sour healthy salad

Ingredients

  • Medium cucumber, seeded and chopped 1
  • Medium apple, chopped 1
  • Medium pear, chopped 1
  • sa 1 tsp
  • Low fat cottage cheese (paneer), grated 2 tbsps
  • Lotus seeds (makhane) 50 gms
  • Jaggery, grared 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
  • Cumin powder ¼ tsp
  • Lemon juice 1½ tsps
  • Rock salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 2 tsps

Methods

  • Take cucumber, apple, pear, ginger, cottage cheese, lotus seeds, jaggery, black pepper powder, cumin powder, lemon juice and rock salt in a bowl and mix well.
  • Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
