Crisp and delicious this pancake makes an ideal breakfast snack

Ingredients

  • Medium potatoes, grated 4 to 5
  • Medium onion, finely sliced 1
  • Egg 1
  • Refined flour 40 gms
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2 tbsps

Methods

  • Take potatoes and onion in a mixing bowl, add egg, refined flour and salt and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add the mixture and flatten it by hand. Cook on medium heat till the underside is golden and crisp. Flip and cook till the other side is golden and crisp too.
  • Transfer into serving platter, cut into wedges and serve hot with a bowl of sauce of your choice.
