Preheat oven to
180º C. Grease muffin moulds with a little butter.
Sieve together refined
flour and baking powder into a bowl.
Take butter and sugar
in a mixing bowl and cream till light fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and cream till the mixture is light. Add vanilla essence and mix.
Add flour mixture and
fold in till well mixed. Fold in the oats. Add milk and mix well.
Grease the moulds or
line them with paper cups. Pour the batter into them.
Keep them in the
preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Remove them from the
oven, demould, arrange them on a serving platter and serve.
